This role is fully remote, providing the flexibility to create your own schedule while fulfilling your caseload responsibilities as an LCSW. As part of a community health clinic, you will be instrumental in reaching out to underserved populations, providing essential mental health support.

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients, utilizing a variety of psychometric tools and interviews to develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with the best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
• Deliver psychotherapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of your clients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical recommendations, ensuring timely compliance with organizational protocols and legal standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate client care effectively and ensure continuity across treatment modalities.
• Engage in regular case supervision and peer review sessions to enhance the quality of service delivery and further develop clinical skills.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources within the community, fostering a supportive environment that encourages questions and engagement.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and apply this knowledge to inform your clinical practice.
• Manage a robust caseload, prompting you to demonstrate time management skills and proactive approaches to meet treatment objectives efficiently.

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients from various socio-economic backgrounds facing a myriad of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will provide tailored therapeutic support and coping strategies to help them navigate their unique circumstances effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential to practice in New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practice frameworks and solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, allowing for effective problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and embrace collaborative practices.

• Experience working in remote settings, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral processes.
• Specialized certifications in areas relevant to the service population, such as trauma-informed care or addiction services.
