Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, including psychometric evaluations as necessary.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the specific goals of each client, focusing on behavioral, emotional, and social issues.
- Provide various modalities of therapy, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions, catering to diverse needs and circumstances.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate clients’ progress in achieving their treatment objectives, adjusting plans as required based on their evolving needs.
- Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
- Administer crisis intervention services during high-stress situations, providing immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, services rendered, and outcomes achieved, adhering to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated on advancements in mental health practices and research.
The primary client population for this role includes school-aged children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges. Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is mandatory.
- Current and valid clinical social work licensing in Illinois, ensuring the ability to practice independently in a clinical capacity.
