Job description

Psychological Assessment And Treatment Position

Provides psychological assessment and treatment under training supervision, supports clinical program development, assists with teaching in a clinical setting, and conducts research.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment under supervision.
  • Conducts individual and group therapy and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Conducts independent research under supervision, analyzing data, developing methodologies, preparing publications, and presenting findings at scientific conferences.
  • Collaborates with other fellows, clinical faculty and staff, researchers, and laboratory personnel to achieve clinical and research goals.
  • Assists in the training and supervision of graduate students, psychology interns, other multi-disciplinary trainees, and other laboratory personnel.

Education Requirement:

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate school or international equivalent, required.
  • Eligible to obtain doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD), required.
  • Formally enrolled in the NCH Psychology Fellowship Training Program, required.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience and course of study in graduate school or a psychology pre-professional internship training program, required.
  • Application to NCH for participation in the Program, required.
