Job description

  • Position available in Northway Primary Care Clinic- Mon-Fri
  • Position available in Headache Medicine - Mon- Fri 
  • Position available in OB & Women's Health - Mon- Fri 
  • Work collaboratively with Physicians & APPs, other therapists, nursing, behavioral health and the interdisciplinary treatment team in a Team Based Care Model
  • Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
  • Provide clinical interventions to include individual, marital, couples, family and group therapy to outpatients, birth to geriatric.
  • May assist in staff development through consultation, education and supervision as well as assist in program development

The psychologist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.

Qualifications

  • PSYCHOLOGIST:

    • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology Required
    • Completion of post-doc training year is preferred .
    • Successful candidates will have training, experience, and interest in outpatient psychotherapy and psychological testing. 
    • Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology must be obtained within 18 months of employment.   Licensure at the time of employment is preferred. Successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services
  • PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    • Masters Degree in Social Work is required.
    • Minimum of one-year experience is required.
    • Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) required.
  • ASSOCIATE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    • Masters Degree in Social Work is required.
    • Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $108,305.60 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience 
  • Salary range: $108,305.60 - $162,448 per year 
    Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
