Job description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time, Direct hire

Location: Century City (Remote 1-day in Office)

Pay: $65-80 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, with a focus on both acute and chronic mental health conditions
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and ongoing assessments for patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders
  • Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, psychological testing, and psychiatric consultations
  • Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, screenings) relevant to mental health and age-specific needs

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Physician's Assistant Program with 2 plus years of experience
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus but not required
  • 2 years experience in Psychiatry or related field
  • DEA License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
