Duties: Daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit, attend daily multi-disciplinary teams meeting, communicate with patient family or natural supports, provide psych consults on the inpatient units, complete documentation Required Procedures: NA EMR: Epic Support Staff: Registered Nurses, Mental Health Techs, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Social Worker, Adolescent Psychiatrist, Manager, Director Reason for Coverage: To increase adult census Deal breakers: Promotes positive culture, Office is located on the unit Credentialing Information: Timeframe: As soon as possible Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: Admissions per day โ€“ Depends on the need, on average now we see 2-4. Patients/day โ€“ Goal is 12-18 Types of cases โ€“ Behavioral Health: Suicidal ideation, active aggression, etc

Submission Requirements

  • Board Certification โ€“ REQUIRED (can accepts Board Eligible Candidates)
  • North Dakota State license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - REQUIRED
  • Residency Requirements/Fellowship (Adult Psychiatry) - REQUIRED
  • Malpractice โ€“ to be provided by the physician or the locum agency - REQUIRED
  • Availability at time of name clear โ€“ REQUIRED
