Job description

Urology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | Day Shift

Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)

Compensation: $140K - $145K+ per year

We are seeking an innovative, energetic, and flexible Urology NP or PA to join a supportive, close-knit clinical team at a growing Critical Access Hospital in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health while enjoying an exceptional outdoor lifestyle and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct targeted urological physical exams and comprehensive patient history reviews
  • Diagnose and manage common urological conditions, including UTIs, incontinence, and BPH
  • Perform office-based procedures such as catheterizations, bladder scans, and cystoscopies
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing urological surgery
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, including urinalysis, PSA levels, and renal function panels
  • Develop long-term treatment plans for chronic conditions like kidney stones and prostate health
Qualifications
  • Current NP or PA licensure (required)
  • Board certification or board eligibility (required)
  • 1-2 years of experience as a NP/PA with experience in Urology preferred
  • Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting
