PERSONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT (temporary) Implementation Specialist Pool (Student Success Act) - BY INVITATION ONLY
Southern Oregon Education Service District's School Improvement department has need for the professional services of a Service Provider with particular training, ability, knowledge and experience for the 2025-2026 school year.
SOESD is looking for a individual service provider with the following unique qualifications:
  1. Master's Degree in Education or equivalent field of study based on assigned project tasks
  2. Five years experience in education or equivalent field based on assigned project tasks
  3. Experience as a school or district administrator (preferred)
  4. Ability to successfully work in both virtual and in-person formats based on district needs and preference

The following represents the summary of duties that the professional services will be required to provide:
  1. Provide skills, expertise, and training on qualitative and/or quantitative data review, compliation and tiered analysis.
  2. Support and assist participating school districts in facilitating community engagement opportunities, meetings and consensus building.
  3. Provide skills, expertise, and support in development, implementation and evaluation of the districts' Student Investment Account (SIA) plans.
  4. Review districts' SIA plans using the Oregon Department of Education's (ODE) scoring mechanism and provide comprehensive, targeted feedback.
  5. Assist participating school districts to revise plans based on ODE's feedback to ensure successful plan approval.
  6. Support participating school districts by providing targeted mentoring and coaching focused on specific, identified needs, topics and focus areas.

Projected Service Date(s): Based on assigned school district calendar
Rate of pay: $55.65 per hour, not to exceed 120 hours monthly on an as needed project basis
Estimated Travel Expenses (check one): ____ None __X__Per SOESD established reimbursement rate.
(Appropriate agency procedures must be followed to receive reimbursement for mileage and lodging.)
THIS IS AN EXEMPT POSITION AND OVERTIME IS NOT APPLICABLE.
This agreement can be terminated by either party upon 14 days written notice to the other party.
