Job Summary
Professional Security Alliance (PSA), the worldโ€™s largest consortium of security and audio-visual systems integrators, is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive to support PSA members within an assigned territory and drive utilization of PSA procurement programs. This role works closely with the Outside Sales Representative to help PSA members purchase products through PSA by delivering responsive service, competitive pricing, and access to PSA technology partners. The Inside Sales Account Executive supports member purchasing teams by assisting with pricing requests, connecting members with PSA technology partners, facilitating quotes and demonstrations, and ensuring members experience the operational benefits of working through PSA.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple member requests in a high-responsiveness environment. This position provides a potential development path into a Territory Sales role.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive compensation package including base salary plus commission, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match and safe-harbor contribution, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and PTO for qualifying employees. Employees working from the corporate headquarters enjoy a professional business-casual environment.
Salary Range: $50-$60K base salary plus commission with On-Target Earnings of $75K, uncapped.
Essential Functions
  • Assist PSA members with pricing requests, quotes, product availability inquiries, and vendor coordination to support order placement through PSA.
  • Work closely with Outside Sales to support territory growth and increase purchasing activity through PSA.
  • Serve as a primary inside resource for member purchasing teams, ensuring they receive responsive service and clear access to PSA technology partners and programs.
  • Qualify inbound member inquiries and connect members with appropriate PSA technology partners when product expertise or support is needed.
  • Promote PSA programs and proactively engage members to increase utilization of PSA technology partners and procurement services.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, training opportunities, and educational sessions for PSA members.
  • Maintain accurate records of member engagement, opportunities, and activities within PSAโ€™s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal PSA departments to ensure members receive timely service and support.
  • Develop a working knowledge of PSA technology partner solutions, programs, and value-added services.
  • Participate in PSA events, member meetings, and territory sales initiatives.

Experience Requirements
  • 2โ€“5 years of inside sales, account management, channel sales, or distribution sales experience.
  • Experience in electronic security; access, video, fire/life safety, or professional AV, is preferred.
  • Experience in distribution inside sales or manufacturer representative sales support is highly valued.
  • Strong communication & phone skills with the ability to build relationships with member purchasing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple member requests, priorities, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-through.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed; however, employees must generally be available during core business hours of 8:00 a.m. โ€“ 5:00 p.m. MT, depending on territory assignment.
