Located in the heart of downtown Madison, Capitol Lakes is a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community offering residents an engaging lifestyle with exceptional amenities and a full continuum of care. We are seeking a Driver - CDL to provide safe, reliable transportation while delivering a welcoming and service-focused experience for residents and guests.
What You'll Be Doing
• Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments, errands, outings, special events, and other scheduled destinations.
• Safely operate community vehicles, including passenger buses and vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and safely load and unload walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Support resident safety by responding calmly to emergencies and delivering exceptional customer service during every interaction.
About You
• Minimum of one year of experience driving cars, buses, or providing transportation services.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet PRS employment driver guidelines.
• CDL Class A, B, or C and DOT medical certificate preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with older adults.
