Position Summary

The Operations Specialist – Tank Monitor Operations is responsible for supporting and coordinating the day-to-day operational activities associated with Paraco’s electronic tank monitoring program and in-field meter operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational continuity, process efficiency, equipment availability, inventory accuracy, and a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Operations Specialist will work collaboratively across departments to monitor operational performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, implement operational initiatives, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. The position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operating environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities associated with Paraco’s electronic tank monitoring program and in-field meter operations.
  • Monitor operational activities and workflows to ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, service standards, and quality expectations.
  • Evaluate existing operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and customer experience.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate the deployment, maintenance, repair, replacement, and lifecycle management of operational equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to support ongoing operations.
  • Manage supply ordering activities, including monitoring inventory requirements, placing orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to operational inquiries and issues, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, escalation, and follow-up as appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, trends, service levels, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate and current policies, procedures, process documentation, and operational records.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects and initiatives that support operational efficiency, process standardization, technology adoption, and service improvements.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to field personnel as needed.
  • Travel throughout Paraco’s operating footprint to support field operations, equipment, process implementation, and other business requirements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, field services, or a related function.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operational processes, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with project coordination, project management, or team leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of an organization.

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Paraco’s operating footprint as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a field operations, logistics, energy, fuel, or service-based environment.
  • Experience working with electronic monitoring systems, metering technology, connected devices, or similar field-based technology.
  • Experience with inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Experience developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Experience utilizing operational metrics and data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
