Job description

Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for management of the facility and chrome coating operations through direction of personnel in the management of safety, quality, and production control.

The Operations Manager is responsible for:

1. Creating and maintaining programs that ensure a safe work environment for all employees.

2. Ensuring customer requirements (on time delivery, lead time, quality, etc.) are met.

3. Provide hands-on leadership for plating and plating support operations, facility management, procurement, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

4. Regulatory compliance for safety, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and wastewater treatment.

5. Managing employee hours and accrued vacation for payroll.

6. Recruiting and training operational and support staff.
