Overview WHO IS THIS FOR?

Our Area Manager is responsible for three things above all else:

Leading and caring for our Team Members.
Providing First Class service to our clients and their tenants.
Ensuring our facilities are consistently cleaned to First Class standards.

We are looking for someone who brings positive energy, takes ownership, communicates well, solves problems, and leads by example.

Our culture is built around servant leadership, hard work, relationships, and genuinely caring for one another. We want leaders who aren't afraid to jump in and help their team and who understand that great service starts with taking great care of people.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of your assigned account and facilities.
  • Build and maintain strong, genuine relationships with clients, Team Members, and building partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, communicating proactively and regularly to ensure quality expectations and scope-of-work standards are consistently met.
  • Lead, support, and develop Team Members, Day Porters, and Team Leads while helping build a strong operations support structure.
  • Promote the First Class culture and bring our Core Values to life with your team.

FIRST CLASS IS GROWING IN LEXINGTON!!!

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a HUGE opportunity for a great leader & manager that is willing to work their butt off! This is also an opportunity to get in on the ground level with our company in the Lexington market. This is also an opportunity to help First Class improve upon what we have already built over the last 10 years in Louisville and duplicate that same culture and service in the Lexington market. If you are one of the hardest workers you know but don't seem to get the credit you deserve, or perhaps you are hustling every day at your current job but they are not providing you with the resources, the training, and the love you need, then this may be the right job for you.

OUR "WHY:"

Our Core Focus is simple -

TO SERVE OTHERS

That means serving each other, our Team Members, our clients, and the people who walk through the buildings we care for every day.

It's why we get up and go to work every morning at First Class.

OUR STORY:

First Class Commercial Cleaning was founded in Louisville in January 2016 by UK graduate and Louisville native John Disselkamp. The company started with very little: a mop, a few rags, cleaning supplies, a lot of hard work, and a belief that people deserved to be treated well.

Since those humble beginnings, First Class has grown into one of Kentucky's leading independently owned commercial cleaning companies, serving 345 Team Members & their families and 186 mid to large commercial facilities and medical office facilities throughout Kentucky.

That growth has been driven by a few simple principles: work hard, treat people well, build genuine relationships, communicate, and do what you say you're going to do.

As First Class continues to grow in Lexington, we're looking for leaders who want to help us build something special while protecting the culture and level of service that got us here.

WHO IS FIRST CLASS?

First Class is proud to be a Kentucky-Based, Independently Owned and Operated Janitorial Company. As one of the FASTEST GROWING companies in the state of Kentucky, First Class provides nightly janitorial services, day porter services, and commercial floor services to a portfolio of 186 “Class A” office buildings (and medical office buildings) in Kentucky, ranging from as small as 20,000 sq ft up to 500,000 sq ft. Most importantly, we are fortunate enough to SERVE over 345 team members and their families.

But buildings aren't really our business — people are.

We're proud to serve our clients, their tenants, and most importantly, the hundreds of First Class Team Members and families who make what we do possible.
