Operations Manager (On-site, Olive Branch)


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic warehousing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective management of inventory and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics and warehousing, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and strategic thinking. As an Operations Manager, you will coordinate with multiple departments and their managers, to streamline workflow, enhance productivity, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with dedicated team in a fast-paced environment where innovation, precision, and excellence are valued. You will be expected to assist in multiple departments, leveraging your skills where the workload dictates. If you thrive in managing complex operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives, this role will provide a rewarding platform to make a significant impact on business performance and customer satisfaction within the warehousing industry. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Manage and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and prevent losses.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the warehouse.
  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing operations management or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing procedures, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

The hiring range for this position based out of Olive Branch, MS is between $70,000 and 75,000 per year.
