Let's introduce ourselves
Volvo Car Americas is seeking a Strategic Network Senior Manager to be based in our Dallas, TX office. This role is responsible for the development and execution of network strategy across the Central Region, ensuring optimal market representation, retailer performance, and compliance with Volvo standards.
The successful candidate will provide strategic insight and leadership in shaping our retailer network and will lead the execution of key network and dealer development initiatives in close partnership with Field teams and internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
โ€ข Execute national, regional, and local market representation strategies aligned to Volvo's network blueprint.
โ€ข Lead and support network actions with individual retailers, ensuring alignment with approved plans, timelines, and cost parameters.
โ€ข Partner with the Director, Dealer & Network Development to develop and evaluate market studies that assess coverage, performance gaps, and future retailer opportunities.
โ€ข Manage, in coordination with Field teams, Volvo's Retailer Escalation Process, supporting issue resolution and improved retailer performance.
โ€ข Oversee and coordinate all aspects of dealership package preparation and evaluation, including:
o Buy/sell transactions
o Ownership, facility, and legal entity changes
o Assessment of candidate experience, capitalization, and commitment to Volvo facility standards
โ€ข Ensure full compliance with Volvo Operating Standards and the Retailer Agreement.
โ€ข Support and maintain the Retailer Operating Standards and Dealer Development Portal.
โ€ข Coordinate the annual retailer business planning process.
โ€ข Conduct retailer financial statement analysis, reporting insights and risks to leadership.
What you'll bring
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred
โ€ข Minimum 7-10 years of broad automotive experience, including exposure to sales operations, field operations, market representation, and dealer retail operations.
โ€ข Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex market and retailer scenarios.
โ€ข Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior retailer and internal leadership levels.
โ€ข Proven problem solving skills, including the ability to prepare effective rebuttals to retailer objections and collaborate with Legal to develop defensible positions.
Salary Range:
โ€ข $123,545 to $229,441
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
