Job description

Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking for experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-expanding team. We are currently looking for a full-time Installation Coordinator, responsible for scheduling and managing the installation calendar, answering questions and providing support for customers, and coordinating between Sales and Operations to ensure a smooth process for the customer.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Daily review and scheduling of projects ready for installation
  • Notify homeowners when their projects come out of permitting and are ready for scheduling
  • Work closely with Construction and Operations Managers to ensure all install teams have projects on calendar and adequate time to complete the installation
  • Communicate to homeowners on what is needed during day of installation.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives as needed for scheduling communications
  • Send scheduling confirmations via text and email
  • Send reminder emails and texts 48 hours in advance of scheduled date
  • Complete post installation follow- up calls and emails so homeowners are aware of current project status
  • Notify homeowners when Permission to Operate is received and grant access to monitoring
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the solar and or customer service industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Confidence, drive, enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent complex multi-functional project and people management skills
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues in a confidential manner
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of knowledge in the solar industry
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience
