Job Brief

We are actively seeking a vigilant Asset Protection Associate to safeguard our company's assets. The ideal candidates will be responsible for implementing security measures, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.


Schedule Overview:

2nd Shift


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong on-site security presence during assigned shifts
  • Conduct hourly perimeter patrols and log activity using the Watchmanโ€™s Clock at all designated checkpoints
  • Control access to the facility during non-business hours and ensure only authorized personnel, contractors, and vendors enter
  • Identify and address suspicious persons, vehicles, or packages following site protocols
  • Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports (IRs) during each shift
  • Enforce site rules related to trespassing, terminated employee access, visitor protocols, and no-solicitation policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at the Guard House
  • Secure facility post at shift end and ensure proper turnover of duties and equipment to incoming officers
  • Communicate effectively with the Site Safety Manager and escalate issues or incidents as needed

Requirements and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in security, asset protection, law enforcement, or military preferred
  • Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and respond to incidents calmly and professionally
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Physically capable of performing foot patrols and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must pass background screening and meet all security employment standards
  • Officers must maintain clean, pressed uniforms and professional hygiene
  • No weapons are allowed on-site (per company policy and applicable laws)
  • All incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations must be reported immediately and thoroughly documented
  • Officers must be familiar with site emergency procedures, suspicious package protocols, and security escalation practices
  • Smoking is not permitted near the post and must be done only in designated areas


Experience

Relevant experience in asset protection or security roles preferred
