Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will use communication, teamwork, and integrity to support daily operations while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment that puts people first.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned parts of the location.
  • Monitor activity at assigned posts and help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with directions, crowd management, and/or communication during events or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
