This opportunity will enable you to enjoy a fast-paced environment working on projects of all sizes and complexities.EAD is looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to assist in providing engineering support for various industrial and commercial projects including: engineering calculations, power distribution, lighting design, controls design, and power analysis. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and EAD standardsElectrical design with primary responsibilities of power, lighting and grounding per client requirementsProvide studies of power quality, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash hazard analysisDevelopment of capital expenditure cost estimates for design/build projectsCoordinating with other internal team members on multi-discipline projects, which often includes architects, mechanical, process, civil and structural engineersWork with designers and drafters to produce detailed designsResolve design and development problemsWork with a team to deliver quality construction documentation – specifications, schematics, power and lighting plans, one-lines, etc.Interface with clients, utility companies, construction administrators, project team and vendorsParticipate in discipline-specific and company-wide business developmentPerform and document technical design reviews with other disciplines on the project team to produce the highest level of qualityResponsible for adhering to all EAD's safety standards and practicesPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:B.S.
