Job description

Medical Director, U.S. Medical Affairs for Prostate Cancer (office-based; Horsham, Pennsylvania preferred). Accountable for evidence-based medical leadership across the prostate program; represents Medical Affairs on cross-functional teams; engages external experts and patient communities; ensures high-quality medical input into clinical development, launch, and post-marketing activities in a matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Strategic medical leadership: Define/drive prostate cancer medical strategy; translate emerging science into clinical hypotheses, trial concepts, and evidence plans; prioritize questions and recommend resourcing for evidence gaps.
  • - Evidence generation & clinical support: Lead integrated evidence generation plan; oversee scholarly publications; partner with medical directors/V&E and stakeholders; prepare/approve medical slide decks, white papers, and scientific materials.
  • - External expert engagement: Build relationships with KOLs, academic investigators, and clinical societies; lead advisory boards and data discussions; engage medical societies and patient advocacy organizations.
  • - Field medical enablement & MSL partnership: Develop medical education content for field medical/V&E teams; partner with MCSE on content review/approval; support fair-balance promotional education content.
  • - Cross-functional collaboration & governance: Provide medical review/approval for promotional medical content as appropriate; serve on teams (clinical development, regulatory, commercial, access/HEOR, legal).

Additional responsibilities: RWE/HEOR alignment; guideline and payer engagement; digital/omnichannel medical strategy; crisis/emergent scientific communications; define/monitor KPIs and report outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • - Required: MD.
  • - Required: Oncology and prostate cancer background strongly preferred.
  • - Required: Clinical trial design and clinical operations experience (Phases II–IV) in pharma/CRO/Academia.
  • - Required: Scientific publications/presentations/leadership in investigator collaborations.
  • - Preferred: 5+ years relevant pharma experience; medical launch strategy; congress strategies and prioritized KOL engagement; track record publishing clinical studies; proven presenting/publishing; strong organizational skills.
  • - Required: Matrix environment collaboration.
  • - Required: Travel up to 25% annually.
