About the Job:
The Outbound Business Development Representative works to convert leads into sales opportunities exclusively for the Account Executive team. As the first point of contact, the Outbound BDR educates and qualifies prospects and leads to help create sales. The Outbound BDR is an excellent question-asker and knows when it's time to talk and when it's time to listen.
What you will be doing:
  • Develop outreach strategies for new lead-generation methods with a self-starter attitude.
  • Conduct market research to identify new leads and anticipate industry needs.
  • Support sales representatives in outbound strategies and lead generation efforts.
  • Engage actively with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Present innovative lead-generation ideas in weekly sales team meetings.
  • Collaborate with AEs to strategically identify and hand off qualified prospects.
  • Re-engage stalled marketing and sales-qualified leads to explore sales opportunities.
  • Schedule discovery calls for key prospects to connect with the AE team.
  • Communicate our value proposition effectively via phone and email.
  • Use tools like Outreach, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo to target key prospects.
  • Generate sales pipeline and new business opportunities for the team.

Must Haves:
  • Ability to work independently and as a team when required.
  • Experience using ZoomInfo and Outreach or similar applications.
  • Positive, upbeat disposition with excellent phone skills and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate in a highly competitive environment.
  • Passion for creating sales opportunities through complex market research and a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of sales experience preferred
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite and MS Outlook
