What Youโll Do:
As a Tax Preparer, youโll play a key role in helping individuals and businesses stay compliant and financially healthy. Weโll provide support and training to help you grow in your role and expand your knowledge in tax and accounting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Prepare high volume and individual and small business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, etc.)
- Communicate directly with clients to collect documentation and clarify tax questions
- Organize and maintain tax files and supporting documentation
- Research tax issues and provide solutions or recommendations
- Assist with e-filing and resolving IRS/state notices
- Support the accounting team during tax season and extensions
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all client communications
Youโre a Great Fit If You Have:
- Knowledge of tax preparation and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, or similar) a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
- A positive, client-focused attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and growโcoachable and open to feedback.
- EA certified or Annual Tax Preparer certification or working towards certification.
