Role Description

This is a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting federal and state income tax returns for individuals and small businesses. This role will require effective communication and collaboration with clients, assessing each client's tax situation to ensure compliance with tax regulations. You will work closely with team members to assist clients with tax planning and financial planning.


Qualifications

  • experience in tax preparation for individuals and small businesses
  • Experience with tax preparation software, such as Intuit ProSeries or Lacerte Tax, and electronic filing systems
  • Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in effective communication and collaboration with clients and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
