Job description

Funnel Leasing Inc. is hiring for a Sales Development Representative. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll drive Funnel's new account acquisition engine by hunting for property management companies (50-200+ units) ripe for change, building multi-threaded relationships across operations, property management, and marketing leaders, and booking qualified discovery meetings with decision-makers. You'll own your territory, develop deep expertise in the multifamily buyer, work in close partnership with the Account Executives closing your deals, and have a clear path to move into a closing role as you grow. This role reports to the Vice President of Sales.
This role is a non-exempt role with an hourly range of $28.85-$33.66/hour ($60,000-$70,000 annualized base). This role is also eligible for on-target earnings (OTE) of $85,000-$100,000, with full base salary plus OTE capped at $100,000.

The Sales Development Representative essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Build outbound campaigns via email, phone, and social to prospect into property management companies in your territory
  • Identify and engage property managers, operations leaders, and marketing stakeholders-multi-threading is part of the motion
  • Qualify opportunities using discovery frameworks; determine fit, urgency, and buying dynamics before booking meetings
  • Book qualified meetings with property management executives and hand them to our Account Executive team
  • Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene; keep your pipeline accurate, up-to-date, and predictable
  • Partner with your Account Executives to understand what makes a good meeting and refine your qualification bar over time
  • Contribute to sales motion strategy; test new messaging, tactics, and territory approaches with the team
  • Support special projects, ad-hoc prospecting initiatives, or account research as needed
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Foster collaboration within team and across the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion

Education, Work Experience, and Certifications
  • Prior success in outbound prospecting, new account acquisition, or hunter-based sales (SDR, BDR, field sales, account management with hunting responsibility, or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with cold outreach via email and phone
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to manage a territory; track multiple prospects, manage cadences, and prioritize pipeline
  • Coachable mindset; you want to learn, iterate, and improve your approach
  • Resilience and tenacity; you accept rejection and stay focused on the next conversation
  • Prior experience in multifamily, property management, or real estate technology
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar discovery frameworks
  • Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts (multi-threaded, longer cycles)
  • Comfort with AI tools for prospecting, personalization, or research
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline/revenue targets
  • If Located in Greater Tampa bay Area; Ability to work in-office at our Tampa HQ most days (hybrid arrangement possible for the right candidate)
