A Proposals Manager works closely with both sales and technical teams to ensure that proposals are tailored to client needs and meet all requirements. They coordinate input from subject matter experts, incorporate technical details accurately, and align the proposal's messaging with the sales strategy. Regular meetings, collaborative platforms, and feedback loops are common practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and a unified voice throughout the document. This cross-functional collaboration is key to developing compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals.

How much does a proposal manager make?

A proposals manager typically earns between $70,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience, industry, and location. Senior proposals managers or those in specialized fields can earn higher salaries, often supplemented with bonuses and benefits.

What are Proposals Managers?

Proposals Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the creation and submission of business proposals, often in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) from clients or potential customers. They coordinate teams, manage timelines, and ensure that proposals meet all client requirements and company standards.
