Proposal Manager, Global Strategic Accounts

The Global Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end bid and tender management process within the Global Accounts division. This role ensures that all proposals are compliant, competitive, and strategically aligned with client requirements and company objectives. This person will work cross-functionally with business development, pricing, operations, and legal teams to deliver winning proposals that drive growth in both domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities:

Bid & Proposal Management

  • Lead the development, coordination, and submission of bids, RFPs, and tender responses for global security opportunities.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders to ensure all proposals are submitted on time and at the highest standard.
  • Write, review, and edit proposal content, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a bid library of templates, case studies, and standard content.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with sales, operations, pricing analysts, finance, and HR to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Support bid pricing strategy in alignment with commercial objectives and cost structures.
  • Facilitate bid reviews, approval processes, and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Engage with external partners, subcontractors, and suppliers when joint bids are required.

Strategy & Compliance

  • Monitor and analyze bid opportunities in both government and private sectors within global security markets.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, legal standards, and regulatory frameworks (including government procurement rules if applicable).
  • Provide insights on win/loss outcomes and continuously improve the bid process.
  • Conduct competitor and market intelligence to strengthen bid strategies.

Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Lead and mentor a small team of proposal coordinators/writers as needed.
  • Establish best practices for bid management, including document control, versioning, and quality checks.
  • Drive innovation in proposal design and storytelling to increase client engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, International Relations, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or business development (preferably in security, defense, facilities management, or related industries).
  • Strong understanding of global procurement processes, RFP frameworks, and government/enterprise contracting.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen; familiarity with pricing and cost modeling.
