Job description

Summary:
The Project Quotations Specialist is responsible for developing costing processes to meet FET's business objectives. Works closely with Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to develop product cost analyses and RFQ / RFP price responses to our customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Familiar with and be able to review/evaluate detailed project specifications from end users and/or EPC firms.
  • Actively review and work with applications engineering to understand key aspects of the request for proposal or project c
  • Prepare and complete formal quotation packages to clients and consult with inside Sales Rep team.
  • Develop conceptual and definitive estimates for projects that are aligned with company goals. Ensure that all aspects of a project are covered in the estimate using the project scope, AE Handoff, P&ID's, material take-off, and client requirements.
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive and thoroughly documented estimating basis for all estimates.
  • Familiarity with subcontractor cost analysis for assessment of fair and reasonable pricing determinatio
  • Communicate with all departments involved in completing quotations.
  • Identify and present variable pricing to Management Team and competitive information as available.
  • Facilitate the estimate and customer change order reviews and ensure that all documentation required for the review is complete.
  • Apply practical field experience with constructability expertise to the development of conceptual estimates where little or no design drawings and information exist for the effort.
  • Experience with midstream or production equipment. Experience should include hands-on work estimating labor hours, specifying material and components from P&ID's, working knowledge of fabrications methods and practices.
  • Proficient with running Compress for preliminary calculations.
  • Ability to read and develop estimates from Compress reports and Engineering Sizing.
  • Ability to solicit control instrumentation with minimal engineering direction.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.

Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years job-related experience with midstream or production equipment a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years quotations, operations, or supply chain experience.
