Job Summary/Description:

WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, NY, has an immediate opening for a creative, motivated producer/videographer to join the team for a local community-focused show called Around the Tiers.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Gather and create content: assist the host in finding great, local content that showcases and highlights everything this area has to offer. You’ll shoot and edit stories and segments to air on the show.
• Produce a daily show: Be enthusiastic about producing an exciting, informative, and entertaining show each day that connects with our audience
• Connect with the community: help keep the content of the show fresh and interesting by identifying trends and working with the host of the show to craft content for all platforms. Assist with contacting and communicating with guests of the show and help ensure they have a fun and pleasant experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High energy and a collaborative team attitude
• Strong writing and producing skills, and the ability to shoot and edit segments and packages for air
• Dynamic storytelling and the ability to create and deliver content under deadline pressure
• A college degree and at least one year of videographer/producer experience is preferred
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
