Job description

10 Federal, a leading self-storage company, is seeking a Property Operations Technician. If you are a self-starter who thrives independently, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and professional appearance of our self-storage facilities. This role involves performing maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and overseeing repairs, predominantly in an outdoor setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive to and from assigned properties
  • Perform storage unit inspections at all assigned properties
  • Perform property repairs, light maintenance, and service requests
  • Prep units that come up for auction, clean out units, and dispose of abandoned goods
  • complete task list provided by manager
  • maintain professional appearances of facilities, interiors, exteriors, and grounds
  • Maintain monthly time-sensitive auctions and delinquency procedures
  • oversee contractor activities (landscapers, painters, etc.)
  • Partner with call center agents on scheduling various customer needs

Qualifications:

  • Property maintenance experience (schools, apartments, self-storage, commercial buildings, etc.)
  • A positive, self- starter attitude
  • Possession of a valid Drivers' License and clean driving record
  • Reliable and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Availability required during core business hours
