VPG is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Multi-Family Property Manager to oversee the operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong property management background, focusing on enhancing tenant satisfaction, optimizing property performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.
  • Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively to foster positive relationships.
  • Assist the leasing team in marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Section 8 housing requirements.
  • Use property management software Yardi to track leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications efficiently.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to oversee facilities management and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each property while monitoring expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies that enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of property operations, financial transactions, and tenant interactions.
  • Coordinate with the make-ready team to move between assignments, purchase supplies, and conduct quality walk-throughs.

Skills:

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing documentation and reports.
  • Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms.
