Job description

Senior Maintenance Technician
Full-Time | Onsite Monday–Friday | Limited On-Call Rotation
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our properties running smoothly while delivering a great experience for residents.

What You’ll Do
Keep the Property Running Smoothly
• Complete work orders and unit turns efficiently and to a high standard
• Perform preventative maintenance to avoid larger issues down the line
• Regularly inspect buildings and identify repair needs
Handle Repairs amp; Troubleshooting
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, and general carpentry work
• Assist with installations such as doors, cabinets, countertops, and lighting
Work with Residents amp; Vendors
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents about maintenance requests
• Support the Property Manager in coordinating third-party vendors (flooring, roofing, landscaping, etc.)
• Help ensure all work—internal and external—is completed properly
Stay Organized amp; Prepared
• Order and manage inventory of tools, materials, and supplies
• Maintain accurate records for work orders, purchase orders, and inspections
• Complete pre- and post-inspections in line with company and safety standards
Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately once every 6–8 weeks)
• Handle light snow removal during business hours (2” or less)
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as needed
What We’re Looking For

• Experience in maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade. Multifamily experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality work
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physical amp; Job Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically active work daily
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights when needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with liability and uninsured motorist insurance coverage.
• Ability and willingness to receive constructive feedback, follow instructions and safety procedures
What to Expect

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
• Limited on-call rotation (once every 8-10 weeks)
• No weekend snow removal or pool maintenance

Pay amp; Benefits
Competitive Compensation
• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and skills)
