Job Summary

The Marketing SkillBridge Extern will gain hands-on experience supporting Black Rifle Coffee Company's Category Marketing team while developing transferable civilian skills in product marketing, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and integrated campaign execution.
Participants will support either the Hot Coffee or RTD/Cold Coffee business, assisting with marketing initiatives that drive product awareness, retail execution, consumer engagement, and business growth across wholesale, retail, direct-to-consumer, and eCommerce channels.
Throughout the internship, participants will work alongside experienced marketing professionals while learning how category marketing strategies are developed, executed, measured, and optimized within a fast-paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization.

Job Details

What You'll Do

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication.

  • Assist with product launches and category marketing initiatives.

  • Conduct market, consumer, and competitive research to support marketing strategy.

  • Help organize campaign assets and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.

  • Track campaign performance and assist with marketing reporting and post-campaign analysis.

  • Support retail marketing initiatives and brand activations.

  • Participate in marketing planning meetings and collaborate across Sales, Trade Marketing, Product, Creative, and Communications teams.

Education and Skill Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active-duty service member approved or eligible to participate in the DOD SkillBridge Program ideally with at least 120 days of eligibility.

  • Strong interest in marketing, brand management, project management, or consumer products.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or coursework in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Exposure to project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing, retail marketing, or consumer brands.

  • Interest in consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or eCommerce marketing.
