Job description

Real Estate -- Apartment Management -- Maintenance

A National Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper / Porter at a prestigious apartment community

Position Overview -- Groundskeepers/Porters, under the supervision of the General Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor, are responsible for the general cleanliness of all assigned work areas.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the interior/exterior cleanliness of all buildings.
  • Trash removal and operation of trash compactor and or dumpster.
  • Assisting in the preparation of vacant units for rent ready status.
  • Care for property owned maintenance equipment
  • Treat residents with respect, efficiency and courtesy.

Requirements for Groundskeeper/Porter:

  • Full-time position
  • Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred
  • Must have a good history of dependability and job performance
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated

Compensation/Benefits:

  • The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $21.00-$21.00. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications (including, but not limited to, education, specific skills, and years of experience), operational needs, work location, and other considerations as permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by law.
  • This position also includes participation in a bonus program.
