RiverTech is looking for a Resource Protection Analyst to work in Shaw Air Force Base, SC. ย Resource Protection Analyst will provide technical expertise in the implementation or evaluation of U.S. Air Forces Central (USAFCENT) access entry control operations. The Resource Protection Analyst assists with the protection of property from the dangers of sabotage, espionage, and intrusion. The place of performance for this role is on-site at USAFCENT Headquarters on Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC.

Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in the implementation or evaluation of 9AF (AFCENT) access entry control operations. Assist with the protection of property from the dangers of sabotage, espionage, and intrusion.
Participate in access entry control and sensor systems software and hardware implementation, maintenance, testing, and periodic checks. Assist with identifying performance limits and monitoring concerns. Properly document outcomes as directed by management.
Perform physical security site surveys. Provide effective and economical recommendations for onsite improvements to the exterior and interior security elements to include but not limited to security lighting, intrusion detection and assessment equipment, annunciation and display systems, security communications, or other security measures that protect Government property and personnel.
Identify, analyze, and resolve broad and complex security concerns. Notify and assist management, if necessary, with the development of new or revised policies, procedures, and their implementation.
Execute and enforce compliance to physical and personnel security requirements outlined in directives, instructions, manuals, regulations, and local policies. Address alarms and/or telephone/radio calls by determining and taking appropriate action; identified by management.
Assess security controls to ensure security protocols are not compromised. Prevent unauthorized access or unauthorized disclosure of information. Notify management of any policy or procedure concerns, directorate security manager concerns, or personnel issues.
Perform DISS functions to include but not limited to security clearance verification, create, modify, or cancel visit requests, and perform detailed report functions.
Conduct periodic reviews of security clearances and credentials. Distribute notices of required changes, reports, records, and other documents, as directed. Analyze operating efficiencies and resources. Make recommendations for modifications and/or changes to management.
Assist in the development and performance of access entry control functions, credential issuance or confiscation, the explanation of policy, procedures, and the operation of access hardware to other security specialists, visitors, and Government and contract personnel.
Consult with other security specialists to develop protection procedures for Government approval that provide maximum protection without any major interference to the mission. Recommend corrective action when or where security requirements are not adhered to.
Operate, monitor, and maintain VICADS architecture and software, operating processes, and store images captured and/or recorded on network video recording and storage devices for multiple facilities.
Assist with IP networking, Windows-based servers and workstations, hardware and software, as well as CCDE and security and video surveillance.
Assist in overseeing VICADS robust configuration parameters including alarm point priority assessment, automatic or manual call up policies, automatic PTZ presets upon alarm and intelligent queuing logic for multiple alarms.
Responsible for escorting designated personnel into controlled premises. Provide an authorized service for USAFCENT facilities' (B1102/B1130) construction projects and/or installations during operational hours.
Conduct and monitor office orientation training for newly assigned personnel ensuring that all requirements are adhered to, and policies and procedures are maintained.
Assist 9AF (AFCENT) in expediting entry/exit during emergency situations, operate facility PA systems, and streamline emergency responders' access to facility and key infrastructure.
