Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Assistant
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager who is eager to learn and grow with a company that has over 100 years of experience in Property Management and Development. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, family-oriented environment and delivering exceptional service to our tenants.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Ability to prepare and understand variance reports and analyze financial results
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Commitment to tenant satisfaction and providing exceptional customer service
  • Commercial property management experience is preferred
  • Real Estate license or industry knowledge is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Conduct building, leasing, and quality control inspections
  • Assist with tenant move-ins/move-outs, signage, insurance documentation, and vendor coordination
  • Maintain consistent communication with tenants, vendors, and internal staff
  • Support the accounting team with financial reporting for wholly owned and third-party properties
  • Prepare, review, and assist with analysis of monthly financial and variance reports
  • Assist with project management, including scoping, bidding, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks and work within systems such as Building Engines, Yardi, and Jenark
  • Assist with website updates, marketing materials, and brochures
  • Assist with other property management and administrative duties as needed
