Job description

Description
Propeller is on a mission to take the guesswork out of moving dirt - reducing wasted fuel, time and money.

We do this through the power of maps. Our customers capture an accurate 3D version of their worksite with drones so they can understand and improve it. Over 10,000 worksites around the world use Propeller to track and manage their machines, plans and materials digitally, leading to better, faster and less wasteful decisions.

Everyone at Propeller is empowered to approach, own, and solve problems creatively. We’re 100% about impact, 0% about ego and challenge ourselves to improve in everything we do. We take being a great place to work seriously and are proud to be recognized as a Fast Company and BuiltIn Best Place to Work. You can learn more about us on Glassdoor.

Your Mission
Propeller helps people use drone data to measure and manage their worksites themselves. Our web platform is stunningly visual, simple to use, and is changing how the global construction industry works.
We are seeking a US Logistics Associate to play a critical role in our national and global growth. Your mission is to ensure Propeller's unique products - Aeropoints, Dirtmates, and a variety of drones from DJI, Wingtra, Quantum, and Autel - are functioning correctly, reliably shipped and delivered, and you will also develop improvements to both product and process.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and streamline inventory management and shipping within the US, including communication with our external warehouse, Next Level Resource Partners (NLRP)
  • Increase our customer satisfaction rating through accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure a constant stream of products to our customers within the United States & North America.
  • Improve our logistics processes, reducing exceptions and internal workload.
  • Assist with the warranty process for our customers.
  • Take on Quality Assurance and Quality Control responsibilities for our products.
  • Assist with the smooth rollout and reception of Dirtmates and Aeropoints.

Your Skills
  • This job requires lifting heavy boxes and moving around a large portion of the time. You must be able to lift 35-40 lb boxes and pull a dolly loaded with boxes.
  • You have a driver’s license.
  • You are practical and able to work independently.
  • You have great customer service and communication skills.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You are process driven - a complex, multi-step checklist does not phase you.
  • Most importantly, you thrive on working with seriously smart, talented people on exciting challenges. You love a contest of ideas. You're 100% about impact and 0% about ego. You're kind, you listen, you care about people's feelings and you own your mistakes.
  • You’re able to keep an organized and tidy work environment. Logistical processes tend to get messy from time to time, and keeping your workplace in the same shape at the day’s end is important to the functioning of the office.
  • You’re a team player who’s keen to take on new projects and tasks, even if they’re outside your job description.

Bonus:
  • You have an interest in drones
  • Previous experience in packing and shipping finished goods

Benefits
  • Fully paid employee United Platinum PPO medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 20 day paid vacation time per year with no accrual or carryover cap
  • Employee share options

  • The opportunity to take part in our mentorship program
  • Monthly telephone and/or internet allowance
  • Paid primary & secondary parental leave policies
  • Hybrid work arrangements and WFH equipment provided
