This role performs identity proofing and enrollment duties as a Registrar, as well as credential printing, issuance, secure storage, and activation as an Issuer/Activator. The Specialist ensures strict compliance with federal identity management standards while delivering professional customer service to employees and visitors.Duties & Responsibilities:Perform Registrar functions, including verifying sponsorship and eligibility, capturing photographs, and collecting fingerprints for enrollment.Perform Issuer/Activator functions, including printing credentials, securely storing badges, issuing credentials, and assisting users with activation.Maintain badge accountability logs, chain-of-custody records, and produce required reports.Verify identities and ensure all credentialing actions comply with established security policies and procedures.Safeguard PIV materials, equipment, and sensitive personal information at all times.Provide professional customer service while operating in a high-security environment.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of HSPD-12 and PIV credentialing processes, including identity proofing and issuance requirements.Knowledge of privacy, data protection, and badge accountability procedures in secure environments.Skill in operating credential systems (e.g., USAccess), cameras, fingerprint scanners, and badge printers.Ability to follow strict federal procedures and maintain chain-of-custody and accountability.Ability to handle sensitive personal data with confidentiality and accuracy while working efficiently.Strong customer service and professional communication skillsAbility to remain calm, alert, and professional in high-traffic or high-pressure situationsMinimum/General Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable client specific adjudication5+ years administrative/customer service experience; proficiency in USAccess.Intermediate computer skills, including data entry and use of access control systems.Completion of HSPD-12 Registrar and Issuer/Activator training.Minimum Education:HS Diploma, or equivalent Disclaimer:The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work to be performed.
