Job description

Pediatric Medical Assistant
Seeking a full time Pediatric Medical Assistant for our pediatric office. Every patient and caregiver that walks through our doors should receive a warm welcome and prompt service. MA's will cover a range of clinical and administrative tasks associated with an office visit: checking patients in and out, obtaining vitals, administering vaccines, helping answering phones and telephone triage.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in pleasant and courteous manner
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Obtaining vitals
  • Administer Vaccines
  • Telephone triage and scheduling
  • Enter data into patient’s electronic record; scans and indexes documents accurately to patient’s electronic medical records
  • And other MA duties as assigned
  • Some front desk/check in responsibilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • MA Certification
  • Strong ethical and moral character references
  • 2 Years prior Pediatrics Medical Office experience required
  • Proficient computer and phone skills to handle a fast-paced office workload
