Sales Manager – Promotional Products, Awards, and Branded Merchandise


National Engravers is a multi‑brand, multi‑facility manufacturer specializing in awards, recognition programs, promotional products, branded merchandise, and company store programs. For more than 30 years, we have built a stellar reputation for quality, reliability, and service. Our organization includes approximately 100 team members across production, sales, marketing, and operations. We operate several well‑known industry brands including Awarding You, Ideal Incentive, Evergreen Crystal, and National Engravers Promotional Solutions.

Our Elgin headquarters is a modern 45,000 sq. ft. Class A facility equipped with advanced systems and full in‑house decoration capabilities, including engraving, laser, UV printing, sandcarving, and apparel decoration. This allows us to deliver fast turnaround, consistent quality, and custom solutions for corporate clients nationwide.

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow our promotional‑products and awards sales channels. This role is ideal for someone who understands ASI/PPAI suppliers, branded merchandise programs, corporate recognition, and the fast‑moving world of custom product decoration.

Responsibilities • Lead and develop a team of account managers and program managers • Oversee sales activity across promotional products, awards, apparel, and company store programs • Manage key client relationships and support new program launches • Work with marketing and operations to ensure accurate quoting, margin management, and on‑time delivery • Identify new opportunities in corporate recognition, branded merchandise, and event‑based product lines • Track KPIs, sales pipeline, and quarterly revenue goals • Represent National Engravers’ brands with professionalism and clarity

Qualifications • 3–7 years of experience in promotional products, awards, branded merchandise, or related B2B sales • Familiarity with ASI/PPAI suppliers, decoration methods, and custom product workflows • Experience managing a sales team or leading client programs • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to corporate clients • Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, purchasing, and marketing • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously
