Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position, which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with Medallion Bank is contingent on passing both a background check and maintaining a clean background.

How you will support the team:

The Traditional Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of Medallion Bank’s field marketing, trade show, and traditional advertising initiatives. This role drives brand awareness, partner acquisition, and relationship development across key verticals through in-person experiences, industry events, reward programs and other offline marketing channels. This role also ensures all initiatives are compliant, brand-aligned, and effectively support business growth across Home Improvement Lending, Recreation Lending, and other strategic programs.


What we are looking for:


Event & Trade Show Strategy and Execution

  • Plan, manage, and execute Medallion Bank’s national and regional trade show strategy, including booth presence, sponsorships, and onsite experience.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including vendor management, booth design, shipping, promotional items, staffing, and event timelines.
  • Develop and execute event playbooks and marketing plans to standardize planning, execution, and post-event follow-up across all events.
  • Partner with Sales teams to align event presence with pipeline development, partner acquisition, and revenue targets.


Loyalty, Referral and Incentive Marketing

  • Develop and manage partner reward programs that deepen engagement with existing contractors and dealers, including referral, incentive, and reactivation initiatives.
  • Partner with the Sales leadership to identify opportunities to re-engage inactive or underutilized partners and drive repeat participation in Medallion Bank programs.
  • Track partner reward program performance, including referrals, qualified lead activity, reactivated partners, engagement, and contribution to pipeline and activations.


Traditional Marketing Channels

  •  Plan and manage traditional marketing initiatives including direct mail, print advertising, and other industry publications where applicable.
  • Oversee development and distribution of branded collateral such as SWAG items, brochures, flyers, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all offline marketing initiatives align with overall campaign strategies and messaging frameworks.


Brand Experience & Compliance

  • Ensure all events and traditional marketing execution is consistent with Medallion Bank’s brand standards and messaging guidelines.
  • Manage compliance approvals for all materials, signage, and promotional messaging in accordance with banking regulations.
  • Maintain disciplined documentation of event materials, disclosures, and approvals.


Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and report on event and field marketing performance, including lead generation, engagement, cost per lead, and contribution to pipeline and activations.
  • Analyze performance to optimize event selection, investment levels, and overall program ROI.
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure proper lead capture, tracking, and attribution.


Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, agencies, and production partners.
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost effective execution.
  • Negotiate contracts and sponsorship packages to maximize value.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ownership in supporting priorities that further the success of the bank.

  • Experience marketing financial products, particularly within home improvement or recreation lending.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and event lead capture technology.
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into engaging in-person experiences.
  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and sponsorship agreements.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or traditional marketing, preferably in banking, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Proven experience planning and executing events, trade shows, and/or in person marketing programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience managing vendors, sponsorships, and event logistics end-to-end.
  • Ability to measure and report on marketing performance and ROI for managed channels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross functionally with Sales teams.
  • Experience working within highly compliant or regulated industries preferred.


Physical environment, demands, and requirements:

  • In office work required with some hybrid work permitted.
  • Frequent travel is required for events, trade shows, and partner meetings. Limited PTO time off during the busy event season (typically Fall).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with event setup and breakdown when needed.
