This individual will focus on driving business growth for products, exploring innovative solutions to business challenges and building a strong business strategy for a complex disease state and treatment. The Marketing Director will develop and lead key strategic priorities and the corresponding tactical plans to achieve the product’s financial objectives. Components include but are not limited to the following: situation analysis, critical success factors, key issues, strategies, and financial objectives.* Key liaison with PR and consumer leadership to develop and execute strategy and campaigns with a keen lens on optimization and performance.* Act as product champion and expert on all aspects of each product and lead the development of the holistic plan including the life cycle management strategy to extend the business potential of the product and portfolio.* Direct the research and analysis of market, brand, competition, pipeline, pricing, promotions, reimbursements, disease, regulatory requirements, customers, and market access to understand business environment and build on opportunities.* Define the scope of market research, define deliverables, and challenge analyses.* Owner and leader in the development of financial objectives, product forecast, 5-year forecast, and budget.* Balance resource allocation and marketing mix elements to operationalize marketing strategy.* Manage overall ad agency performance and performance review process.
