The Opportunity

The Belleville Senators are seeking energetic, detail-oriented part-time Promotions Team Members. This is an excellent opportunity to join an NHL affiliate team which will allow the candidate to become fully engaged in the business of a professional sports team.

The Belleville Senators Promotions Team plays a vital role as the ultimate team promoters and energy drivers for fans at Belleville Senators home games. Bringing infectious enthusiasm, charisma, and outgoing personalities, the Promotions team helps ignite the crowd and create an exciting in-game atmosphere. Working collaboratively, the team executes a variety of high-impact in-game activations including fan engagement activities and corporate partnership promotions, both during stoppages in play and intermissions.


This is a part-time role based upon the organization's needs which can include weekday, evening, and weekends shifts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Crowd Energy: Serve as dynamic ambassadors and promoters for the team, interacting enthusiastically with fans to elevate the overall arena experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager, Content & Game Presentation, Game Producer, and In-Game Hosts to deliver high-impact in-game activations both on and off the ice.
  • Activity Coordination: Prepare and execute in-game activities and sponsor activations.
  • Identify enthusiastic fans to participate in in-game activations and provide clear instructions to ensure smooth and engaging participation.
  • Distribute activation prizing as required.
  • Assist in the set up and tear down of activations.
  • Follow the direction of the Producer and Promotions Crew Supervisor.

  • Outgoing & Charismatic: Be naturally outgoing, highly enthusiastic, and comfortable striking up conversations with strangers to drive energy.

Who We Are

The Belleville Senators are a professional ice hockey team based in Belleville, Ontario, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL). They are the top affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators and were established in 2017 after the Binghamton Senators relocated to Belleville. The team plays its home games at CAA Arena and serves as a key development ground for Ottawa's future NHL talent.
