Job description

Connoisseur Media – Milford, Connecticut, is looking for a vibrant, engaging, and creative Part-Time On-Air Personality to join our award-winning team across Star 99.9, 99.1 PLR, WEBE 108, 94.3 WYBC, and WICC 600/95.9.
We’re searching for someone who lights up the mic every time—bringing personality, passion, and a genuine connection to the communities across Fairfield and New Haven Counties. The ideal candidate delivers energy, authenticity, and creativity on every shift, with content that’s entertaining, relatable, and locally relevant.
This role is part-time and flexible, with a focus on weekday availability (including mid-days), plus the ability to contribute nights, weekends, and special programming as needed. If you love music, live and breathe local radio, and know how to make listeners feel like part of the show, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver topical, engaging, and entertaining on-air breaks that align with each station’s brand and audience.
  • Execute live or voice-tracked shifts across multiple stations in the cluster.
  • Represent the stations at events, remotes, and promotional appearances throughout Connecticut.
  • Collaborate with programming, promotions, and digital teams to create compelling on-air, social, and video content.
  • Operate studio and remote broadcast equipment with confidence and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Prior on-air radio experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and social skills, on-air, in person, and across digital platforms.
  • Ability to create a content-rich, listener-focused show with a local lens.
  • Working knowledge of audio editing, Adobe Audition, VoxPro, RCS Zetta Automation (or similar systems), and social media platforms.
  • Understanding of FCC rules and broadcast standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed.
Benefits:
Connoisseur invests in people who invest in themselves by offering competitive benefits for part-time employees that support success both on and off the job.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and all household members at no cost.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with discretionary employer matching.
  • Sick Leave Pay when required by state law.
