Description
The Community Based Testing Center at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Test Center Administrator.
About the Opportunity
This position will administer online testing in a high security office. A testing environment is intense and offers opportunity to exercise problem-solving skills under pressure, significant contact with public, and the need to maintain confidentiality for clients. Attendance requirements are inflexible, and the position will work some Saturdays and evenings.

What You'll Do
  • Administer exams, continuously monitor candidates, verify identity, and handle digital photographing and thumb printing.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all Prometric practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Protect security of software and testing equipment, identify and report irregularities at testing center, communicate with Prometric's technical department, and maintain training and certifications on all Prometric equipment.
  • Conduct biometric fingerprinting, identification scanning, and operation of Biometric Web cam.
  • Greet candidates, convey instructions, verify ID validation, and collect and file documents.
  • Maintain security of opening and closing testing center and office supplies.
  • Resolve candidate issues and/or building problems.
  • Clean and maintain office and testing room.

Pay Grade: 10
Work Hours: 20.25 Hours per week
Shift: Typically 7am - 5pm
Qualifications
  • High School Education
  • A minimum of six to twelve (6-12) months of related experience
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

  • Verbal skills to communicate firmly and effectively
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse candidates
  • Organizational skills demonstrated in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a testing environment

Licenses/Certifications
  • Must pass the Test Center Administrator after 60 hours of onsite training.
  • Requirement for all Prometric Testing Centers - Each TCA must be certified.
