Lead High-Stakes Cost Strategy on Landmark Projects
Rupert Construction Services is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating strategy across complex infrastructure projects. This is a senior-level role requiring deep expertise in independent cost estimating, contractor negotiations, and change order management within large capital programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop independent cost estimates across planning, design, and construction phases
  • Prepare and validate engineers estimates incorporating phasing, operations, and constraints
  • Conduct detailed takeoffs including labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • Lead reconciliation efforts with contractors and third-party estimators
  • Analyze bids and align them with independent estimates
  • Lead negotiations for change orders and contractor proposals
  • Maintain historical cost data and support future forecasting
Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of estimating experience in construction and engineering projects
  • Expertise in cost reconciliation and contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and pricing structures
  • Experience working with public agencies (FAA, LADBS, etc.) preferred
Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff tools
  • Project systems like Prolog preferred
Education & Certification:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) required
