Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary
Established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary for their firm! Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a legal assistant or legal secretary role and be able to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary Requiremens:
  • 3+ Years experience preferred
  • Ability to support multiple attorneys
  • Calendaring case deadlines including but not limited to discovery deadlines, court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
  • Open new files, run conflicts checks, and maintain all client and general files electronically via ProLaw
  • Work well under pressure, keep a calm and professional demeanor at all times
  • Schedule hearings with opposing counsel and court staff
  • State and Federal filing preferred
  • Make appointments and travel arrangements; maintain calendar and deadline reminder system
  • Draft correspondence
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interact with clients, visitors and attorneys/staff via phone, email and in-person
