Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a Project Coordinator to manage project meetings, documentation, and communication among team members while ensuring timely completion of project activities.
Responsibilities:
β€’ Coordinates, schedules, and attends project related meetings.
β€’ Transcribes and disseminates project meeting minutes.
β€’ Documents, tracks and receives project documentation and deliverables.
β€’ Send follow-ups as necessary to ensure project activities are completed in a timely manner.
β€’ Shares information and updates with project team members as relevant to project activities.
β€’ Documents and tracks project risks, issues, action items and decisions as part of the project management activities.
β€’ Assist PM in developing necessary documents, presentations or reports
β€’ Follow-up and track project statuses and update the project tracking system with pertinent information
β€’ Create project related reports from the project work breakdown structure
β€’ Work with PMs on documenting project scope and high-level requirements
β€’ Disseminate information related to project schedules.
β€’ Coordinate NextGen quality review and steering committee meetings. Capture notes and action items and disseminate as appropriate
β€’ Ensure all project related artifacts are stored in the proper location within the NextGen Project SharePoint site.
β€’ Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the NextGen Project.
β€’ Maintain effective communication and working relationships with project team members
β€’ Other responsibilities added per management's discretion
Qualifications:
Required:
β€’ Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, AND one year of IT-related experience.
β€’ OR associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT-related experience.
β€’ An equivalent combination of education and job-specific expertise that provided the knowledge, experience, and competencies required to perform the job at the level listed successfully may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
β€’ Tracking IT project activities and tasks for a specific business suite or multiple workstreams - 1 year
β€’ Experienced in using Outlook, Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) - 2 years
Preferred:
β€’ Prefer experience using Microsoft Project or Microsoft Project Online.
β€’ Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
β€’ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
β€’ Ability to communicate to management, business, and technical personnel
β€’ Ability to work through conflict
β€’ An eye for detail and excellent grammar
β€’ Ability to multi-task
