Position Overview
V-Line services is looking for a Assistant Project Manager to support our Federal Construction Team.
The APM will be responsible for assisting the PM with the organization and oversight of planning, executing, and successfully delivering complex Federal, DOW, USACE, NAVFAC, etc. construction projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining job budgets.
  • Assist in the handling of permitting needs.
  • Assist in site supervision and material courier when necessary.
  • Understand project documents and scope.
  • Assist in management of projects.
  • Assist in closing out projects.
  • Assist in overall coordination for project manager.
Qualifications:
  • Good communication, effective communication with clients, subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Solid computer skills included in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-Point).
  • Ability to modify PDFs.
  • Ability to develop Excel formulas, V-Lookups and creating pivot tables
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Basic construction knowledge needed
  • Fast learner, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
