Job description

Project Architect

Location: Southeast U.S. (Hybrid)


A growing multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead a diverse portfolio of building projects from design through construction.


This role offers significant project ownership, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to mentor junior team members while growing into a senior leadership position.


Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from design development through construction administration.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and technical details.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
  • Perform quality reviews and support code compliance and permitting.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, site observations, and project closeout.
  • Mentor and support junior architectural staff.


Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect (or eligible for reciprocal licensure).
  • 4+ years of architectural experience.
  • Strong Revit/BIM and AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Experience with construction documents and construction administration.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to satisfy project eligibility requirements when applicable.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, civic, or complex building projects.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
