Job Title: Project/Program Manager - Non IT II
Location: Florence SC 29501
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $60/hr on W2
 
Job Description:
 The main function of a program manager is to oversee and coordinate multiple related projects within an organization to ensure they align with the company's strategic goals and deliver beneficial change. A typical program manager is responsible for managing the program's budget, timeline, resources, staff, and delivering expected business value and outcomes.
 
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and metrics to achieve business goals.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and integration of multiple projects within the program.
• Coordinate cross-project activities and facilitate collaboration across functional teams.
• Manage and allocate program resources and budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Identify, monitor, and manage program risks and issues, developing contingency plans when needed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and align expectations.
 
Skills:
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking with proven project/program management abilities.
• Proficiency in program and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
• Extensive familiarity with management and implementation of business strategy within a program's framework.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex portfolios and navigate organizational change effectively.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards pertinent to the program's scope.
 
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering 
• PMP or PMI certification.
• 3-5 years of experience
 
Must Have:
• Engineering degree
• Experience in leading a team of multiple functional areas (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc….)
• Experience in managing product development projects, covering all phases from requirements definition, design & test, industrialization, and delivery.
• PMP certification and PM tools such as MS Project.
 
Nice To Have: 
• Experience in a large commercial products is preferred.
