Job description

Position Overview
Power Your Future with Qualus in our Program Management department as a Project Scheduler. You will be responsible for developing and updating detailed project schedules with input from Engineering, Project Managers, and Operations Management within their assigned Business Units. This includes coordinating responses from field/operations personnel and gathering information from internal data management systems (like Maximo, Procore, ERP financials, etc...), assembling accurate reports, and interpreting data to predict project productivity trends. Time management, multi-tasking and a strong adherence to deadlines are essential to the position.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain cost and resource loaded programmatic schedules. and gather project progress from Project Managers and Superintendents/contractors weekly.
  • Review change request/change order logs with Project Managers weekly.
  • Review project schedule and update with Management weekly; accurately interpret data and communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Build detailed project schedules quickly and accurately immediately upon project award/turnover.
  • Assemble and communicate data in support of scorecard, KPM, and portfolio tracking processes.
  • Maintain project and activity coding required for reporting purposes
  • Effective, clear & timely communication of data and trends to Project/Operations Management.
  • Assist in compiling scope change requests.
  • Adhere to stringent schedule development and update processes as described by the PMO (Project Management Office) and established SWIs (Standard Work Instructions)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' Scheduling experience building and maintaining project schedules for large programs and projects.
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities due to demands and timeline changes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interface.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, Microsoft Word & Excel; create clearly written communications.
  • Experience writing detailed and concise communications.
  • Utility experience
  • Power Generation experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to be on site in Mississippi.
